Congratulations to Ms Bridge and her
Chamber Choir who performed at the Gala Concert in the Cathedral last Saturday night. The
children sang magnificently and did themselves and Holy Family proud. Well done to all.
Congratulations to Áine Ryan and Sarah Gleeson
from 3rd class who both won Gold medals in the recent All Ireland Gymnastics
competition in Dublin.
Victory for Holy Family in
Girls Football Final
On the 24th of October 2007, the
Holy Family Girls Football team beat the Gaelscoil in the Division 2 football final in
Cusack Park. In the previous rounds they had great wins over Cloughleigh N.S. and Tulla.
N.S however they lost to the Gaelscoil in their opening game. The final was an epic battle
between two great sides with the Holy Family winning out in extra time with Maebh Jacob
scoring the winning goal. Kate Norton who accepted the trophy on behalf of Holy Family
Senior School captained the team. The team was coached by Majella Lillis, Patricia Browne
and Seán O’ Neill. |
